August 27th, 28th,
and 30th, 2013
Had a last minute cancellation and 3
other trips were re-schedule due to bad weather. Just
wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our
customers who has fished with Jean Lafitte Fishing
Charters. We have added many more pictures inside of our
waterfront lodges and I am sure all of you would be
happy to see yourself on the wall of fame.
We'll be back on the water shortly.

Today I
had the pleasure of fishing with Mike Stover from
Florida. The fish were biting early and Mike caught
enough that we were back at the dock around 11:30 am.

caught on Spinner Baits using Falcon Coastal Rods and
2500 Series Volt Reels.

August 5, 2013
Today I
had the pleasure of fishing with the Joelle Eggen family
visiting us from Kansas City, Mo. All I can say is that
summer is here as the heat index easily went over 100
degrees. The group kept a few for lunch at Jan's Cajun
Restaurant and kept a mess to take home. All fish caught
on spoons and spinner baits.

August 2, 2013
Today I
had the pleasure of fishing with Dr. Chris who was
visiting us from Cincinnati while his wife was attending
a conference in New Orleans. He was looking to catch his
first redfish and he was able to get one 8lbs for his
first fish of the day. Dr. Chris caught a good mess and
was a good fisherman. All of his fish were caught
on spinner baits and spoons and all released to fight
another day.
