January 14th, 2012

January is usually one of our slower months. Weather conditions usually make for some tough fishing conditions. For the past seven or eight years John Sprague and friends have fished with me for two or three days in January. This is the only month that they can fish, due the business that they are in. Some years have been good and some have been slow, but we have always managed to catch fish. John and Eddie with a couple of reds on day one and John with a nice red on day two.

January 2012

January is typically one of our slower months for fishing. We use this time to spend in the woods pursuing our passion for Deer Hunting.

The weather has been unseasonably warm and we have not seen much of a winter this season. However, this has been a GREAT thing for fishing. With the water temperature steadily rising, the Bass will spawn earlier this year most likely. For all you Bass fisherman out there, book today to get on the Big Bass during the month of February while they are spawning! Some real big ones out there to be caught! Fish the same areas where Kevin Van Dam broke the record for total weight in the 2011 Bassmasters Classic!
