Fishing forecast for April - Spring is here , and so are the fish. With warmer weather and water, the specks will soon begin there spawning which should heat up the fishing. Redfish are still constant catches when the wind isn't howling. The Reds are starting to come out of the duck ponds as the tides in the bays are getting higher. The next  6 months should begin fabulous fishing with the approach of Summer, spawning, and the shrimp season. Our calendar is filling up fast, book your trip now!

 
April 26, 2004 - Had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Damon Humphrey and his friend James. Managed a couple real nice reds, and then it was off to Jan's for some great fried fish.

April 19, 2004 - Bob and Sylvia Furlong from Folsom, LA, with one of the nice redfish they caught! Great weather and clean water made for some great action today.

 
April 17, 2004 - Had a couple guys from Mandeville and Covington today. Great weather and great action was on the card when we left the dock. Managed a couple bull reds including one near the 40lb. mark. Clean water, and strong current kept the action consistent.

 
April 16, 2004 - Mr. Robert Weinmann and his son Bobby with a nice red fish. Fishing was very slow this morning until the tide started moving at 11o`clock. Managed to catch a few reds and 25 trout.

 
April 15, 2004 - What a great day on the water. Capt. Joe fished with Mr. Shea Penland and his son and were finished by 10 am with a limit of reds. He had them cleaned before I got in to get a picture.Great job guys. I fished with Mr.Dennis Montgomery and his daughter from Denham Springs. We had about 50 trout and a few reds.What a way to spoil a girl on fishing! What a great time we all had. Back out tomorrow. See you on the water. Capt. E.J.

Stephen, Mark, Dennis Noding and their good friend Eugene Borland from South Dakota had another great day of fishing.

April 2, 2004 - Great day on the water today. The fishing was steady, even with the windy conditions. Managed 8 reds and about 20 trout..
