Fishing forecast for November-  After an exciting end to October, November is shaping up nicely. This is the month when all of the cold fronts begin to pass through the bayou state. This will lower the tide and make some of the reds move out of the interior marshes and look for the deeper holes. As water temperatures begin to drop, we will be fishing more dead end canals, fishing the  exiting currents from the marshes,  during the tidal movement. The fish still will remain relatively closer to the marina's as well. Book your trip now!!

November 30, 2004 - Tuesday`s trip turned out to be short due to the strong south winds. 14 trout all caught under a cork. Fished all the canals we could find. Weather was just extremely tough today.

November 29, 2004 - Monday`s trip with John Delcamp and his wife Theresa started off slow for the first couple of hours but the trout turned on about 10AM producing a nice limit of trout. Once again all fish were caught on H&H glow beetles under a cork. All fish were caught and released today.

November 27, 2004 - Saturday I had Larry DeCan and Mike Hinojosa. The severe weather and strong winds did not leave us very many places that we could fish. They fished hard for the 20 plus trout they caught. All fish were released to fight another day. Glow beetle under a cork. Capt. E.J.

November 26, 2004 - Friday I had Mike DeSoto and his crew from Marksville, La. Even though it was a tough day we ended up with 40 trout. All fish were caught under a cork with white a glow beetle.

November 23, 2004 - Roy Little and his son Curtis from Maryland joined me on a tough and windy day. Curt was the man today catching his first black drum and redfish. We also had a nice mess of trout which I had for dinner, thanks guys. Capt E.J.

November 19, 2004 - Fished with Paul Cummings today, we ran from Lake Salvador to Bayou Perot, to the Pen in search of Trout. Fishing was tough but we did end up with 20 real nice keeper specks.

November 17, 2004 -  Melvin Cooper and his wife Lillie from Petal Mississippi joined me today. It took them most of the morning to master the popping cork but after they did they ended the day with a fine mess of trout. They had 2 gallons of fish to take back to Mississippi. Capt. E.J.

November 14-16, 2004 - Fished with my good friends Capt. Bob, Mike, and Joe with a group of great guys from Texas (GEAUX TIGERS!), and some Vietnam vets like myself .

Three great days of fishing produced close to 400 trout 12 to 18 inches!

Two 43 inch bull reds and several reds a little shorter. Also some flounder and drum. Not bad for three very windy days.

Great fisherman and great company make for a great time. Hope to do it again next year. Capt. E.J.

November 13, 2004 Capt. Joe and I had the Scott Gremillion bachelor party. These guys spent most of the night before drinking and swimming bayou Barataria at 2 am. It was tough getting them out of bed. Not a bad mess of fish for the shape they were in. Capt. E.J.

Capt. Tony had Dale Goodin and his son. They also had a very nice mess of trout. Hopefully he will send me a picture when he gets back home.

November 12, 2004 - Well my Boston vacation was great but it is time to get back to work. Morning trip with Walter Lichus and Bill Ryczek from Chicago produced 20 or so trout and 2 reds. Afternoon trip with Chris Lawson and his group turned out much better. Capt. Keith and myself boated well over 150 trout with very few throwbacks. Great thing about this afternoon all fish were released to fight again. Beetle under a popping cork was the ticket today. Out again tomorrow with two boats. Capt. E.J.

November 3 - 10, 2004 - On Vacation! We will still have a few boats available this week! So if you want to get on the hot reds and specks, call now!! 1-877-689-4120 or lafittefishing@cox.net

November 2, 2004 - Much better day than yesterday. The wind gave us a break for the first few hours. No pictures and no names from these guys today but the totals were 20 trout 12 reds 8 bass and two flounders. I will be on vacation till next Tuesday. Will still have phones available, and will be checking email. Book your Trip now! Capt. E. J.

November 1, 2004Bob and Suzy Buettner, Buddy and Betty Bland from Alabama joined me today on one of the toughest days of the year. With 25 mph winds we had very few places we could fish. 10 trout was the total of the day. Sailing again tomorrow, Capt E.J
